Un montaje diferente. A different asembling.

Aquí traigo una pieza muy especial. He dejado la parte de abajo con un borde irregular que marca una ruptura con el equilibrio de la mitad superior. Por otro lado he calibrado los agujeros para pasar el cordón de forma oblicua, de este modo la perpendicular de la pieza está marcada por el pico inferior en vez del superior que sería lo más habitual. Para finalizar, he añadido unas bolas de metal que ocultan las conexiones del caucho con la pieza. ¡Me encanta!

Today I'm bringing a very special piece. I left the bottom with an irregular edge that gives a breakdown with the balanced top. On the other hand I've calibrated the holes for the string obliquely , it makes that the perpendicular axis of the piece is marked by the lower side rather than the top, which would be more common. Finally, I added new findings like a big clasp to hide the connection with the bunna cord and metal balls. I love it!

Altering an old piece I´ve made at this workshop. I´ve used oleo to get this vintage look. I love it.

Pieza de partida. Initial point.

Primera modificación con gubia y relleno en tonos azul oscuro. 1st alteration, carving and back fillind dark blue.

Segunda alteración, más gubia y rellenando con azul claro y dorado. 2nd alteration, more carving and back filling with light blue and gold.

Tercera alteración, carvando sobre lo anterior y rellenando con negro. 3rd alteration, carving and black back filling.

 Y mucha lija después, claro, en el reflejo se ve como un espejo. The secret is on sanding and buffing, like a mirror.

 Este diseño no es cambiable, he puesto un colgador arriba también de arcilla y es más alargado y plano. Me encanta.
